Since the last 5 years Daffodils Preschool - Vrundavan has been imparting value based quality education to impressionable minds and also provides Day Care facility to your children. Our school has a warm, stimulating and loving environment where the kids can happily grow and learn. We have well-trained and qualified teachers, who nurture the kids, through various activities with a right teaching methods.

Parents—teachers’ meet: First meeting is scheduled before the school re-opens for that particular academic year. Then it is conducted on bi-monthly basis and planners are distributed in advance. Planner is explained in the meet. Parents’ queries and concerns are attended and child’s overall development and weakness is communicated.

Mrs. Nidhi Ninad Borkar

CEO & Founder

Mrs. Nidhi Ninad Borkar sowed the seeds of Daffodils Preschool in the year 1999. The thought behind this was to provide quality pre-primary education at a very affordable fee structure.

Accordingly efforts were taken to realize the dream and hence Daffodils was established. Mrs. Borkar emphasizes on the uniqueness of every child and accordingly developed the curricular for the Preschool education. After twenty years of delivering affordable quality education she has achieved excellence in this field and the seed sown by her has grown into a huge tree with firm roots and expanding branches.

Her relentless efforts, passion and contribution have been acknowledged in the form of the award for the Best Preschool in Thane which has been bestowed by the Education World.

Dr. Onkar Sadashiv Pawar

Branch Head

Dr. Onkar Sadashiv Pawar has an experience of 15 years in the field of education. After completing his Masters in Defence and Strategic studies from Bhonsala Military College Nashik, he pursued his doctorate from Savitribai Phule Pune University. He also qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC. Dr. Onkar worked as Assistant Professor in the Department of Defence studies in Bhonsala Military College and later in the PG Dept. of Defence and Strategic Studies, School of Arts and Humanities, North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon.

His areas of interest include National Security and Defence Budgeting. He has participated in several State, National and International conferences and also presented research papers. He has also published articles in various reputed journals and authored a book titled “Internal Security Problems of North East Region of India: Insurgency and Counter Insurgency”.

Dr. Onkar gained good experience of handling students and addressing their problems during his stint in higher education institutions. He has excellent knowledge about the contemporary pedagogical methods that are employed to educate and train students. Dr. Onkar started his association with Daffodils in 2018 as the branch head. The Vrundavan branch is slowly and steadily gaining popularity as preferred pre-school in an around the area and Dr. Onkar is leaving no stone unturned to set higher benchmarks for the institution.

Mrs. Uma Raghunath

Mrs. Uma Raghunath is a dedicated and passionate educator with a wealth of experience. She is a graduate and a trained Montessori teacher, holding a Diploma in Early Childhood Education from IGNOU. With eight years of teaching experience, Mrs. Raghunath is committed to providing young children with a strong educational foundation.

She employs innovative training techniques to engage her students effectively. Believing in the power of music as a learning tool, she incorporates songs and rhymes into her teaching, making learning enjoyable and memorable for her students. Mrs. Raghunath's approach reflects her deep commitment to fostering a love for learning in young children.

Mrs. Prachi Kolge

Mrs. Prachi Kolge is a dedicated and passionate educator with a postgraduate degree and an E.C.C.Ed. from Treehouse. She has been enriching the field of education for the past Eight years. Teaching is her passion, and she strongly believes in the holistic development of children, emphasizing the importance of both fine and gross motor skills alongside academics. Mrs. Kolge values patience as the most essential quality of a pre-primary teacher, ensuring a nurturing and supportive environment for her students.

Mrs. Mrunmayee Lugade

Mrs. Mrunmayee Lugade is a distinguished educator with a rich and diverse background. She holds an Arts degree and has completed her ITI in Food Preparation with distinction. Additionally, she has recently earned her E.C.C.Ed certification from Daffodils Preschool.

With 15 years of extensive experience in various fields, Mrs. Lugade brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to our preschool. Her artistic talents have earned her a professional teaching position with Pidilite Fevicryl, where she specializes in article creation. She excels in artistic creations, including rangoli making, and has a proven track record of conducting arts and crafts workshops and summer camps in collaboration with various preschools and institutions.

Mrs. Lugade's past experience in leading such events and her interactive teaching style make learning both engaging and enjoyable. Her passion for teaching fosters improved mental growth, concentration, and fun-filled learning for students of different age groups.

Mrs. Sabiya Mundasad

As a dedicated and passionate educator, Mrs. Sabiya Mundasad brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the field of early childhood education. Holding a graduate degree and a Montessori diploma from A.K. Teacher Training Institutes, she has been enriching the lives of young learners for over four years.

Mrs. Mundasad's teaching approach is centered around creating a nurturing environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and freedom of expression. Her mantra is to "become a child among children," engaging with them at their cognitive level, and empowering them to explore, learn, and grow. By leveraging innovative teaching aids, puppets, and interactive tools, she makes learning a joyful and effortless experience for her students.
